Our European travel May-August concluded with a stop over in New York. The "BIG Apple" was easy to take a bite out of!

Theatre, Art Galleries, was our focus on this trip. The West End always is a highlight. The "new" old production of "Joseph" is a West End hit, Ballet "Car-man" at Saddlers Wells, very modern set in a car yard, we also saw a very vibrant verson of Carmen Jones at the Festival Hall, full cast of Afro/ American Negro's.а The energy and dancing was spectacular.а

Maastricht in Holland we had bookings for a concert with Andre Rieu.а The square surrounded by restaurants with seating we had booked.а The performance is over 3 nights and a sell out. Maastricht is his home town. We enjoy his shows on the Ovation channel. We were told he was bringing his full troupe to Australia 2008. New York saw "Jersey Boys" again a sell out broadway show that announced it was going to the West End next year.
New Zealand on family research, the main focus being the WOW spectacular event in Wellington. Wearable Art. My how Wellington has changed. Cafe society interesting buildings, I was pleased to see the Prudential building in Lambton Quay still exists built in the memorable year of 1934.
